Real moments, beautifully documented. From the nervous anticipation of getting ready to the last dance of the night, I photograph weddings as they actually unfold… the people, the emotions, the chaos, and all the little moments in between.

My approach is to give you enough direction when you need it, then step back and let the magic happen. The result is a collection of photographs that feels like your wedding, not just a collection of poses recreated for the camera.

Who wants to wait months for their photos? Ain’t nobody got time for that! You want to share the good news… that’s why I provide next-day sneak peeks of a few key moments from your wedding. Go ahead, send it to grandma if she couldn’t make it that day, post it on Instagram or Facebook, print pamphlets and get them thrown out of an airplane!

  • Having a big camera in your face is unnatural for most of us. That is why I always do a video call beforehand to get to know you. I find a balance between posing you versus capturing natural and candid moments with your partner. My goal is to keep things relaxed so you can be as naturally “you” as possible!

  • All weddings over 6 hours include a second photographer. I also work closely with a wedding planner/day-of coordinator if you need one. I do not directly provide videography services but I can arrange them for you with trusted industry partners.

THE LITTLE THINGS
Details, before the day begins.

Before the people arrive and the day gets moving, there are all the little things that took months to choose, plan and put together: the rings, invitations, flowers, dress, shoes, cuff-links, and all the details that make your wedding uniquely yours.

I photograph these details intentionally, not just as a checklist. They help tell the story of where the day began, and years from now, they’ll bring back memories of things you may have forgotten you even chose.

BEFORE IT BEGINS
Getting Ready

The hours before the ceremony are filled with anticipation. It's the nervous excitement, the last-minute touches, the champagne, the laughter, the quiet moments with your closest people, and sometimes a little bit of beautiful chaos.

I keep things relaxed and unobtrusive, looking for genuine interactions. Even when posed, I try to keep interactions as natural as can be. My goal is to let you be present with the people around you while I document everything unfolding.

These photographs aren't just about getting dressed. They're about remembering who was there with you before you walked down the aisle.

THE FIRST LOOK
That moment before everything changes.

Whether you choose to have a first look or save the first time you see each other for the ceremony, these moments are some of the most emotionally charged of the entire day.

I'll give you enough direction to make the experience comfortable without turning it into a performance. Then I'll step back and let the moment belong to you. The anticipation, the reaction, the nervous laughter, the hug afterwards… those are the photographs I'm looking for.

SAYING "I DO"
The ceremony.

The ceremony is the heart of the day, and there is far more happening than just the exchange of vows.

I'll be watching for the big moments, but also everything happening around them: a parent's reaction, a friend’s smile, the way you look at each other, and the people watching from the seats. This is also where a second photographer becomes an obvious choice. While I focus on the bride, the second photographer focuses on the groom’s reaction, perhaps your mom wiping a tear from her cheek, or perhaps your dad feeling the feels.

I'm there to document the ceremony without becoming part of it. You shouldn't have to worry about the camera, because you should be completely present.

JUST YOU TWO
Couples’ Photos and Portraits

This is one of the few parts of the day where you actually get to slow down.

You don't need to know how to pose, and you certainly don't need to spend an hour performing for the camera. I'll give you simple direction when you need it, and let you interact naturally with each other.

We'll create beautiful portraits, but more importantly, you'll get a few minutes together to take a breath, look at each other and actually take in what is happening. The photographs are the bonus!

Your wedding isn't only about the two of you. It's also about the people who travelled, helped, supported, celebrated and stood beside you.

Family and wedding-party photographs don't have to feel stiff or overly formal. I'll make sure we get the important combinations your family will want, while keeping things moving and creating room for genuine interactions and personality.

These are the photographs that become increasingly meaningful as the years go by, especially for the people who love you most.

THE CELEBRATION
Dinner, speeches & everything in between.

Once the ceremony is over, the day changes completely. Everyone relaxes, and the people you invited finally get to celebrate with you. This is where I become especially observant. The best photographs aren't always happening at the head table. They're happening between speeches, across dinner tables, during hugs, and in the reactions happening around the room.

I'll document the moments you expect and keep a lookout for the ones you don't.

LET'S DANCE
The party!

The formalities are over, the ties become loose, the heels come off, and everyone lets loose.

This is where I stop worrying about perfectly composed photographs and start looking for energy, movement, laughter and the wonderfully unpredictable moments that happen when your favourite people are on a dance floor together.

I'm not interested in making your party look staged (and neither should you!). I want you to look back at these photographs and immediately think back to “oh my goodness, that’s right! Uncle Terry totally lost his toupée while trying to do the splits!”

You can recreate a portrait. You can photograph the rings again. But you can't recreate the way your dad looked at you before the ceremony, the reaction your friends had during your vows, or the person who grabbed your hand on the dance floor.
