Richmond’s Minoru Park Photography — Dani & Daniel

Dani and Daniel’s couples photoshoot took place at Minoru Park in Richmond, a great little green space right in the middle of the city. The north side of the park has the Minoru Lakes, winding walking paths, mature trees, and plenty of gardens and greenery, giving us a lot more variety than you might expect from a park surrounded by Richmond’s City Centre. It made for a relaxed setting for the two of them to spend some time together and get some photos without having to turn the session into a big production.

Dani and Daniel are a young, genuinely cute couple, and they were comfortable together from the start. We walked around the lakes, stopping along the paths and finding different pockets of greenery for their photos. I kept things fairly relaxed, giving them some direction when needed while also letting plenty of the little interactions between them happen naturally.

Minoru Park is a particularly good option for couples photography in Richmond if you want greenery, water, gardens, and an easy-to-access location without leaving the city. Dani and Daniel’s session made good use of the quieter side of the park, with the lakes, trees, and winding paths giving their photos plenty of variety while still keeping the focus on them.
