Intimate Wedding Photography Without the Pressure

A smaller wedding doesn't mean fewer meaningful moments. I photograph micro-weddings and elopements throughout Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland, focusing on the people, emotions and little moments that make your day yours.

Whether you're planning an intimate wedding with your closest family or a small celebration with friends, my approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. I'll give you direction when you need it, then step back and let the day unfold naturally, capturing the moments you planned for, and the ones you never could have.

Next Day Sneak Peeks

Who wants to wait months for their photos? Ain’t nobody got time for that! You want to share the good news… that’s why I provide next-day sneak peeks of a few key moments from your wedding. Go ahead, send it to grandma if she couldn’t make it that day, post it on Instagram or Facebook, print pamphlets and get them thrown out of an airplane!

  • Having a big camera in your face is unnatural for most of us. That is why I always do a video call beforehand to get to know you. I find a balance between posing you versus capturing natural and candid moments with your partner. My goal is to keep things relaxed so you can be as naturally “you” as possible!

  • 1 hour is great for a simple ceremony, a short elopement, or a small celebration where you mainly want the key moments, family photos, and a few portraits together.

    3 hours gives us more breathing room. It allows time for more relaxed portraits, family and friends, details, and candid moments before or after the ceremony without feeling rushed.

    If you're unsure, tell me a little about what you're planning and I'll help you figure out what makes the most sense for your day. You don't need to book more coverage than you actually need.

  • I think elopements are a great idea! I love to photograph intimate ceremonies: just you, witnesses, officiant, maybe your parents, and me as your photographer. We could meet up in your back yard, or take a helicopter ride up to a mountain!

Micro-weddings have a different kind of energy. With fewer people and fewer formalities, there's more time to actually be present with the people you love.

I focus on the connections that make an intimate wedding special such as the quiet moments with your partner, the hugs from family, the laughter with friends, and all the little interactions that can get lost in a larger celebration. Your wedding really doesn't need to be big to be worth remembering, and I’ll make sure I capture not only posed portraits, but also the tiny moments that made your day so special.
