Stanley Park Surprise Proposal — Cole & Rena
Cole had a pretty creative plan for proposing to Rena at Stanley Park. He created a custom storybook about their relationship and arranged for it to be waiting along the path near Beaver Lake, where Rena would find it, read through the story, and eventually reach the final page—a proposal from Cole himself. Surrounded by the trees and natural beauty of Stanley Park, it was a thoughtful and completely personal way to set the moment up without giving anything away.
After Rena said yes, we explored Stanley Park for their engagement photos, spending most of our time in the Rose Garden while it was in full bloom. With thousands of rose bushes, mature trees, and beautiful garden paths, it gave us an incredible variety of backdrops for their photos. Stanley Park is one of Vancouver’s best locations for engagement and surprise proposal photography, and it was the perfect place to turn Cole’s carefully planned proposal into a full collection of photographs celebrating the two of them.
