Pitt Lake Proposal — Ryan & Anysa
Ryan and Anysa’s proposal took place at Pitt Lake in Pitt Meadows, surrounded by mountains, wetlands, and the huge open landscape that makes this corner of the Lower Mainland feel so far removed from the city. The proposal location at Grant Narrows Park sits at the gateway to the Pitt–Addington Marsh Wildlife Management Area, with Pitt Lake and the surrounding mountains creating an incredible backdrop. It was the kind of setting that suited them perfectly: quiet, natural, and with plenty of space to simply enjoy the moment together.
Ryan and Anysa have one of those easy, genuine connections, that makes photographing a proposal feel happy and natural, even when there are nerves involves.
After the proposal, we explored the Pitt Lake and Grant Narrows area for their engagement photos, making use of the water, marshland, mountain views, and natural trails around the park. With such dramatic scenery close to Pitt Meadows, it’s an incredible location for a Pitt Lake proposal or engagement session and a beautiful place to celebrate something as meaningful as this!
