Vancouver Backyard Micro-Wedding — Soleil & Matt
Before their larger celebration at Seymour Golf & Country Club, Soleil and Matt chose to have a small, private micro-wedding in the backyard of their Vancouver home. Surrounded by their immediate family and beautiful gardens, they were able to take care of the legal ceremony while keeping this part of their wedding day intimate and free from the pressure of a larger celebration. The setting was peaceful and personal, with an emotional ceremony and a first look that made the day feel incredibly meaningful.
With flowers and greenery throughout the backyard, we were able to create beautiful wedding portraits without ever needing to leave the property. The smaller setting also gave everyone time to slow down and enjoy the moment, with plenty of genuine emotion and quiet interactions between Soleil, Matt, and their family. It was a completely different atmosphere from their upcoming Seymour Golf & Country Club wedding, but just as important.
Soleil and Matt’s Vancouver backyard micro-wedding was a beautiful reminder that a wedding does not have to be large to feel significant. Sometimes the most meaningful celebrations are the ones shared quietly, surrounded by the people who matter most.
